AfterCare for Your New Hair Extensions
Washing:
Wash your extensions 1-3 times a week. When shampooing, focus on thoroughly cleansing your scalp. Consult your stylist for product recommendations.
Conditioning:
Apply conditioner to the ends of your extensions only. Avoid applying it to the scalp or attachment points.
Detangling & Heat Protection:
Always use a detangling and heat protectant spray after washing and before brushing.
To ensure your hair extensions look stunning and last as long as possible, follow these aftercare tips:
Drying:
Blow dry your hair after each wash to maintain the integrity of your extensions.
Brushing:
Brush your hair at least twice a day (morning and night) to prevent tangling and matting. Use a Wet Brush, Framar brush, or an extension brush.
Oiling:
Apply a lightweight oil to the ends of your extensions. If it contains heat protection, even better! Keep oils away from the scalp.
Sleeping:
Protect your extensions at night by wearing your hair in a silk scrunchie or loose braid. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase adds extra protection.
